Will it fit my shower?
It screws onto any standard half inch handheld hose, the fitting used in almost every home and apartment in North America and most of the world. If you have a fixed head on a wall arm instead of a hose, you will need a handheld hose and bracket as well.
Does it lower the water pressure?
No. The micro nozzle plate is designed to do the opposite. Smaller, denser openings push the water out faster, so most people feel more pressure than with the head they replaced, especially in homes with weak flow.
What do the beads do?
Water runs over a column of tourmaline mineral beads and a smaller set of anion beads before it reaches the spray plate. Over time they collect what the water carries and turn darker, which is why the handle is clear: you can see when they need a change.
How often do I change the beads?
About every ninety days for one or two people, sooner if the column looks dark or the pressure drops. Unscrew the handle at the ring, pour out, pour in.
Can I use it in a rental?
Yes. Nothing is permanent. Unscrew your old head, screw on GLÖD, and take it with you when you move.
